The $1,500-to-win Joe Berry Clash of the B-Mods special event highlights the racing action this Friday for Racing on the River’s Edge at Lakeside Speedway! Competitors will compete in preliminary events to sort out the lineup for the night’s main event and increased purse. USRA Modifieds, USRA Stock Cars, Factory Stocks, E-Mods, and special guest class Mod-Lites will also compete on Friday night.

Drivers expected to contend for the win include multiple-time Lakeside winner Tim Powell, along with Lakeside Speedway regulars Brad Smith, Luke Nieman, Chase Galvan, Don Marrs, and Patrick Royalty along with Andy Bryant and drivers who may stop in for the big payout! Please note, mention of driver name does not guarantee race appearance. Drivers from various “B-Mod” sanctioning bodies such as IMCA Sport Mods (bring your rules) are invited to race but must purchase a temporary USRA license on-site for $10.

Friday night also serves as ‘Union Night’ at the speedway in which local Union members may show their official Union card identifier at the general admission gates and receive free admission courtesy of Lakeside Speedway. In addition to the night’s racing, the evening will finish off with an upgraded version of the already spectacular fireworks show in honor of Independence Day. If you saw last year’s fireworks, you already know how fantastic it was and we have an even better show planned for attendees this year!
