B-Mods are the headlining class this Friday at Lakeside Speedway as the 65th season of competition continues with the annual Joe Berry Clash of the B-Mods! The race features a solid payout for competing drivers with $1,750 going to the winner and a $200-to-start payback for cars at least taking the green flag in the 24-car main event.

Joe Berry Clash of the B-Mods Payout: 1) $1750, 2) $800, 3) $600, 4) $500, 5) $450, 6) $400, 7) $375, 8) $350, 9) $325, 10) $300, 11) $275, 12) $250, 13) $225, 14-24) $200. Tow money is $50. All total, the purse available is $8,800. There is no entry fee for this event, drivers pay pit pass only.

In addition to B-Mods, the weekly racing series continues this weekend with A-Mods, Stock Cars, Pure Stocks, E-Mods, plus guest class Mod-Lites. This week’s event also serves as the final Friday for the ongoing Top-Gun series at Lakeside Speedway. The five-week mini-series will conclude on Saturday at Central Missouri Speedway. Weekly point standings update: After recording his third-straight victory, Arkansas’ Tyler Wolff leads the way in A-Mods heading into Friday’s action with 300 points followed by Nic Bidinger (263), and Kerry Davis (250). Like Wolff, J.C. Morton has also recorded three wins in a row and dominates the B-Mod Standings with 300 points over Patrick Royalty (267) and Sturgis Streeter (236). In Stock Cars, Tim Shields leads the way at 282 points followed by Kacey Shields (258) and Austin O’Neal and Hank Thompson tied (231). Shawn Burns commands the E-Mod division with 310 points ahead of Steven Makar (284) and Buz Kaster (283). Marshall Jewett leads the way in Pure Stocks with 322 points with Spencer Reiff (269) and Wayne Brooke (265) not far behind. For complete standings visit lakesidespeedway.net.

Top Gun Series standings update: After four weeks of competition, Spencer Reiff leads the Pure Stock division with 615 over Darrin Christy (457) and Logan Headley (367). For E-Mods, Lakeside regular Steven Makar shows the way with 614 points over Shawn Burns (586) and Dakota Earls (557). For the B-Mods, Patrick Royalty holds the lead with 624 points ahead of Jake Richards (596) and Sturgis Streeter (574). Tim Karrick still holds the lead in A-Mod competition with 616 points in front of Terry Schultz (562) and Chad Lyle (511).

The Top Gun Series concludes this weekend with Lakeside’s final race in the series taking place this Friday and CMS’s final race in the series on Saturday towards earning points. Drivers must have at least ran once at the other track to earn pay from the final standings.

The Top-Gun Series payout is based on five races at each track with the top 10 in each class receiving payout if they race at both tracks at least once, with one throw-out mulligan finish. Payout is as follows. A-Mods: $1000, $800, $600, $500, $450, $400, $350, $325, $300, $275. B-Mods: $500, $375, $300, $250, $225, $200, $175, $175, $150, $150. Pure Stocks and E-Mods: $300, $225, $175, $150, $125, $115, $110, $100, $100, $100.
