Friday night is shaping up to be a huge night of racing for week six of the 2019 championship racing season at Lakeside Speedway.

B-Mods take the spotlight this week with the Joe Berry Clash of the B-Mods featuring an $8,800 purse for competing drivers with $1,750 going to the winner and a $200-to-start payback for cars at least taking the green flag in the 24-car main event.

The payout for the Joe Berry Clash of the B-Mods: 1) $1750, 2) $800, 3) $600, 4) $500, 5) $450, 6) $400, 7) $375, 8) $350, 9) $325, 10) $300, 11) $275, 12) $250, 13) $225, 14-24) $200. Tow money is $50. There is no entry fee for this event, drivers pay pit pass only.

Additionally, the Janet Billings Memorial featuring Pure Stocks takes place on Friday. The Billings family diligently collected extra money in honor of their loved one’s memorial event.

According to Lakeside Speedway General Manager Pete Howey, “The Pure Stock purse will ultimately be equivalent to our A-Mod purse, and with the addition of the family’s generously donated funds, the winner will take away $800 for the victory. All Pure Stocks making the starting grid will benefit from the Billings family’s generosity via the added purse money."

Car classes for Friday include A-Mods, B-Mods, Stock Cars, Pure Stocks and E-Mods. Friday also includes the Kids Candy Dash presented by Norm and Irma Davis. The dash not only features candy treats but there are also bonus prizes for participants.
