(Kansas City, Kansas) This Friday’s program at Lakeside Speedway features Casey’s General Stores night and weekly racing in six divisions. Action includes preliminary heat races and main events for A-Mods, B-Mods, Pure Stocks, E-Mods, Mod Lites, and Grand Nationals. Stock Cars have the week off from racing.

For anyone wishing to watch the races from the privacy of their own home, head over to the all-new pay-per-view feature at www.lakesidespeedway.net. Last week, fans from 12 states watched the first-ever weekly racing broadcast from the track.

Last week produced some of the best racing of the season and this weekend will surely produce some close competition as drivers hit their mid-season stride in working on their cars and setting them up for the hot-summer track conditions.

Fans may purchase tickets online through midnight on Thursday with a limited amount of tickets available at the gate on race night. Advanced tickets are available at MyRacePass.com under the Lakeside Speedway Profile by clicking here or by calling call 913-299-9206. Terrace Spots are available but must be reserved by calling the track in advance.

COVID-19 related social distancing is recommended and masks are required per Kansas Governor Laura Kelly, who signed an executive order on Monday requiring the wearing of masks in public. Patrons are also reminded that concessions are limited at this time due to national food shortages.

Lakeside Speedway will follow CDC Recommendations which may affect logistics and “normal” operating procedures. All attendees are responsible for their own personal protective equipment and decisions regarding attendance. Lakeside recommends when parking in the pits, to leave extra space between race cars and to not gather in groups or travel from pit stall to pit stall. Race teams are limited to 10 people per team, this is monitored at the Pit check-in building when signing in.
