Lakeside Speedway Hosts Test ‘n’ Tune Practice Session this Friday!

(Kansas City, Kansas) Prior to the first official green flag of the 2021 NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series waving, Lakeside Speedway hosts a practice session this Friday for drivers hoping to fine-tune their cars and prepare themselves for the long season ahead.
The Test ‘n’ Tune session is open to all classes with pits scheduled to open at 3 p.m. followed by practice on the track from 4 to 9 p.m. All pit passes are $20. This is a free event for fans wishing to watch the session from the grandstands. Limited concessions will be available.
Upon returning to the speedway, fans will notice the colorful banners and signage signifying the re-establishment of the track’s relationship with NASCAR for sanctioning of the weekly race series.
Track General Manager Pete Howey would like to remind drivers and fans to place their votes for Lakeside Speedway for the NASCAR Advance my Track contest, in which the track has a chance to win up to $50,000
Participants may vote 3 times a day every day, until April 27th.
Through the ‘Advance My Track Challenge race fans can show support for their favorite NASCAR short track while bringing awareness to the great work each track is doing within their respective communities. Visit the contest site today at www.advancemytrack.com/lakeside.html.
As previously announced, drivers are urged to view the newly revised payouts for the weekly classes. The revised official payouts are located on the track’s website at www.lakesidespeedway.net, by clicking on the Rules/Forms link.
Also available on the site are rules, expected points fund payouts, the season schedule, various track general forms, registration forms, IRS forms, minor release forms and the MyRacePass.com driver profile form. Drivers are encouraged to be proactive and print and fill out paperwork prior to arrival on their first night of competition to save time in the registration and pit area lines.
