KANSAS CITY, Kan. (March 4, 2026)—Originally planned as a one-day show this year, Lakeside Speedway’s  Heartland of America Showdown featuring the Interstate Batteries High Limit Racing Sprint Car series will becme a two-day event as a Friday, October 9, race has been added alongside the scheduled Saturday, October 10, date. Tickets for the October 9-10 doubleheader are available for purchase at highlimitracing.com.

Also home to the Hasty Bake Grills Kansas City Clash on Friday, April 17, Lakeside has previously hosted six High Limit shows with Brad Sweet scoring three wins while Rico Abreu, Brent Marks and Giovanni Scelzi each won once.
