KANSAS CITY, Kan. (June 19, 2026)—Galvan, Dishong, Marrs, Ingram would find their way to Nextran Victory lane! Lakeside Speedway started off the Father’s Day weekend with 64 cars across 5 divisions on a fine Friday night but mother nature had other plans and watered the track putting us in an hour rain delay. Once the track was rolled in given the circumstances the show began and we never looked back, only taking a small break for a couple sprinkles hitting the track.
Pied Piper Pest & Termite Control Pure Stocks would have 11 hard charging cars through the field with Don Marrs and Chase Galvan being the first two drivers to win the heat races. Hammer down racetrack makes for a lot of horsepower and track positioning matters. #0 Chase Galvan starting on the first row and jumped out to the early race lead and never looking back as he would be the first to cross the finish line and park it in Nextran Victory Lane. Your point leader would come home second in the #56 Joseph Smith Jr. Third place would be left to #56k Nicholas Smith while #20x Don Marrs would be right in his tire track for fourth. Rounding out the top five would be #7 Marshall Jewett.
Deutz Equipment E-Modifieds had 12 fast and furious cars with #51 Corey Myers and #28 Tobin Bartlett starting off with heat races wins. #41 Chris Dishong would start on the front row due to passing points and take advantage of the starting position and ride off into Nextran Victory Lane in his fast hot rod. Bartlett would improve on the point deficit and take home a second place finish with the point leader of Corey Myers finishing third. #5j Jeff Goepferich Sr would finish fourth and fifth would be up for grabs with the #61 Jeff Degroot snagging it.
Don Marrs would continue his tear on the Vintage as he would pick up the heat race win and the feature win. Second place would belong to #45 Steve Brown. #43 Donnie Billings would be the man on the move going up four positions to claim the final podium spot. #54x Darrin Christy would move up one position and claim fourth. Fifth would be left to #42 Rob Brash.
Schweizer Performance USRA Stock Cars always put on a show but mother nature had other plans. Heat races would be completed with #54 Eddie Ingram and #42c Kasey Shields winning their heat races. Come feature time it would be a battle to see who could get out first, it would be Eddie Ingram coming out leading after going side by side with Shields for a lap. It would be close until just over half way rain would come down from the clouds and the checkered would be flown. Ingram would win it, Shields coming home second. Third place would belong to #37 Justin Seifert with Dishong right behind him moving up 3 spots to claim fourth. Fifth would be #711 Dylan Holt.
Show-Me Whitetail Expo USRA B-Modifieds would only be able to run their heat races. Luke Nieman in the #181 machine, #88b Colby Burge and #57s Darren Shaw would come out hot to win each of their heat races. With the amount of rain coming down on the track the B-Modified feature would be canceled and will be rescheduled for a later date.
