The highly anticipated return to action at Lakeside Speedway is just around the corner as drivers and fans prepare for opening night, which is set for Friday, August 2, 2019. In anticipation for the return to racing, Lakeside Speedway would like to thank all the drivers, fans, and fellow racing venues who helped the speedway recover from the devastating floodwaters, which kept the track idle for much of the planned racing season.

Due to the flooding and the late season start, Lakeside Speedway is extending the 2019 schedule. Originally, Championship Night was set for Friday, September 6th, we are pleased to announce the extension of the season to Friday, October 4, 2019. A champion will emerge from these 10 weeks of racing in each of the weekly race divisions.

There is No Driver Registration Fee for any of the participating car classes. Drivers who pre-registered for the 2019 season and have purchased Pit Stalls will receive an option for compensation. For drivers, Pit Passes are $35 each week and there will be no charge for transponder rental; however, transponder pouches are required and available for $15. Drivers are responsible for the return of the transponder. If transponder is not returned, the Driver responsible for the loss will pay a $300 replacement fee!

For the revised schedule, we are making some slight modifications. Our Weekly Racing Car Classes for the 10-week schedule consist of A-Mods, B-Mods, Stock Cars, Pure Stocks, and E-Mods. Mod-Lites will run a limited schedule starting Friday, August 2nd to Friday, September 6th. Grand Nationals will also run a limited schedule beginning Friday, September 13th to Friday, October 4th. We plan on running “specials” in each of the weekly car classes.
